my first say...

Well... here I am sitting writing wondering what I might say that anyone would be remotely interested in!!
I've been putting it off because I didn't know what to say but the only way I know to start is to "jump in"!
So here goes...
I'm Australian
I'm married to Richard for 26 years and I live in Belfast, Northern Ireland
I have 3 beautiful daughters who are the joy of my life
My gorgeous Bethany is almost 21
Last Saturday we had a wonderful night for a joint 21st birthday with Bethany and her friend Katie in Dublin despite the manager of the place being very rude and disrespectful to a lot of the young people who were there.
My brother in law Chris was over from Australia on business in Belgium and flew to Dublin to surprise Bethany.
She knew nothing about it and her reaction was priceless!
Thanks for coming Chris and making it such a special night.  Missed you Jenni and Lucas!

Birthday girls - Katie and Bethany                                                      Chris and Bethany

My 2nd daughter Sam is just about to head home to Australia for 3 months
She is having a gap year before starting university in Dublin in September
I've never been away from my children for such a long time so I'm going to miss her so much.
She's going to have a fantastic time and is looking forward to showing her country to Ed

Ed and Sam

And then there's Zoe
At the moment she is in France competing on the Irish National Squad for gymnastics at the European Championships.
I'm so proud of the strong woman she's becoming.
She is competing on vault, bars and beam
She's not competing on floor because she is recovering from an ankle injury.
Bethany wanted to go and see and support her this week but finances just wouldn't allow it :O(
Wish I was there.

Here's Zoe and Emma at the Irish Team Championships which were held in Dublin last month.  Her club Salto are National Champions!

So that's me for the first say...
Besides its late and I really need sleep!
Tomorrow I determine to see God in a person or situation and be open to a wonderful adventure!
Til next time...
